What do you do when you realize you’re a better preacher than you are a person? That’s the story that starts this podcast on our 5th missional theology axiom: Whatever God does through you he always also does in you.
As leaders, we are always full participants in any transformation we help to bring about. We don’t “do things to other people” as leaders, but rather, we reproduce the kind of person we’re becoming.

I truly appreciate your addressing this axiom. The Lord lead me to value a tween whom I used harsh words with last evening in our class and after service go by her house and ask her grandmother if I could take her out to eat and talk. It was a Kairos moment for sure. I apologized for my mistreating her verbally and asked her to forgive me. She said she did. We went to eat at her favorite place and she talked about all kinds of things going on with her. My soul vibrates with your sharing in this episode. I long to have more Kairos moments when I can truly be authentic by my participating in the transformation that I expect of these children.
Thanks for sharing this story, Wanda! Glad this content is resonating!
