Here’s a question we got recently: How do missional communities work in the suburbs?
A lot of resources for missional communities seem to assume a level of proximity that isn’t present in a suburban context. So how do you cultivate a sense of doing life together when the very structures of the suburbs mitigate against it?

Man guys, I just so so so appreciate you guys. I mean, we are all experimenting and just trying to figure it out…so being role models in it just makes it even that much cooler for me to watch your videos. I think the overall effect isn’t any particular idea you have – thought they are all awesome – its that we are on the right track and that Father really does want to show us how to do this in our unique contexts…and he is. Thanks for telling your stories and sharing your resources. This is so needed and I am ALWAYS encouraged every single time!
Thanks for your note, Brad! Very encouraging to hear.
I profited from comments from both of you. I recently asked a neighbor whose young daughter attends our kids’ program on Saturdays and some times on Sunday evening to make a pot of chili for our Fall Parking Lot Fellowship. She agreed to do so. I was a bit taken back, but joyful to know that my enter-action with her over these last two years has finally paid off. By the way she is a Jehovah Witness member.
Wonderful!
